FE GOWNORA (“FE GOWNORA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) takes seriously the privacy of everyone who visits our website, sends us a garment, commissions a sculpture, or otherwise engages with our studio. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we gather, how we use and protect it, and when we share it in the course of running our business — including our website, our commissioned-artwork services, our shipping and intake procedures, our client correspondence, and related activities. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions and the other policies published on this site.
This Policy covers personal information relating to clients, prospective clients, visitors to our website, people who join our mailing list, and anyone who corresponds with or otherwise interacts with FE GOWNORA. FE GOWNORA is based in the United States and works with clients around the world. Your information may therefore be handled in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States and the jurisdictions in which the providers who support our operations are located.
FE GOWNORA gathers and uses personal information for genuine business reasons: fulfilling commissions, staying in touch with clients, marketing our work, understanding how our website is used, and running the studio day to day. The categories that follow describe the kinds of information we hold, the purposes for which each is used, and whether it is ever sold or shared with outside parties as those terms are defined by the laws that apply to us.
For every category listed below we state what is collected, the business purposes it serves, whether it is passed to the providers who work on our behalf, whether it is sold, and whether it is shared for targeted (cross-context behavioural) advertising.

FE GOWNORA never sells personal information for money. Certain website and device signals may, however, be “shared” for targeted-advertising purposes in the sense given to that word by U.S. state privacy statutes.
We use personal information where it is reasonably needed to run the studio: to take payment, to create commissioned sculptures, to receive, document and return garments, to arrange shipping and insurance, to correspond with clients, and to provide support. We also use it to make each client’s experience more personal, to market our work and place advertising, to analyse and improve our technology and services, to detect fraud, and to meet our legal duties. Where the law allows, FE GOWNORA may draw on this information in future collaborations with bridal boutiques, gift registries, preservation specialists and similar partners.
Most of what we hold comes directly from you — through the website, your commission, your messages and the materials you send. We also receive information automatically through cookies and analytics tools, from the providers who support us such as payment processors and couriers, from social media platforms, and from public sources where you have chosen to make information public.
FE GOWNORA shares personal information with outside parties only where the running of the studio requires it. That includes the providers who process payments, host the website, supply analytics, handle our communications, and manage logistics, shipping and production. We may also share information with our professional advisers, with regulators or courts where the law requires it, and with partners involved in delivering a commission or a future collaboration. Every recipient is permitted to use the information solely to provide services to FE GOWNORA unless the law says otherwise; we require our providers to use it only for the stated purpose and never for their own marketing or commercial ends.
Our website relies on cookies and similar technologies to function, to keep your session active, to support sign-in, to measure how the site performs, and to place advertising. Third-party tools, including advertising networks and analytics services, may record how you interact with our site and with other online services in order to attribute activity and deliver targeted advertising.
FE GOWNORA handles sensitive personal information only where it is reasonably necessary to deliver our services or where the law otherwise permits. If such information is ever used for anything beyond delivering the service, you may have the right to restrict that use or to withdraw your consent. We do not deliberately gather sensitive information in order to draw conclusions about anyone.
Where the GDPR applies to you, FE GOWNORA relies on the following grounds: carrying out our contract with you, meeting our legal obligations, pursuing our legitimate business interests, and, where relevant, your consent.
FE GOWNORA may strip identifying details from personal information, or combine it with other data, so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to a particular person. Such anonymised material may include gown scans, capture data, garment geometry and related outputs. We may keep, study, license, share and otherwise use anonymised data for research, analytics, developing our craft and technology, training machine-learning and artificial-intelligence tools, quality assurance and commercial purposes. Once anonymised, the data is no longer treated as personal information under this Policy.
Depending on where you live, data-protection laws may give you rights over your personal information. Subject to those laws and to identity verification, you may be able to ask what we hold about you, have inaccuracies corrected, request deletion, receive a portable copy, and ask us to restrict or stop certain uses. If you are in a jurisdiction with enhanced protections you may also opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for cross-context behavioural advertising and limit how sensitive information is used or disclosed.
Where the law requires it, including under certain U.S. state privacy statutes, you may also appeal a decision FE GOWNORA makes in response to a privacy request. We will explain the applicable appeal procedure when we reply to your request.
To exercise these rights, send a verifiable request to FE GOWNORA using the contact details in this Policy, or use any account settings, messaging tools or consent controls we make available through the website or our services. We may take reasonable steps to confirm your identity and may ask for further details where needed to act on your request. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf where the law allows, subject to suitable proof of authority and verification.
Some information may be exempt from these requests under applicable law — for instance where we must keep it to complete a transaction, detect security incidents, meet a legal obligation, pursue or defend legal claims, or for other lawful reasons.
You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time using the link in those messages or by contacting FE GOWNORA directly. Preferences relating to cookies, tracking tools and targeted advertising can be managed through your browser settings, our consent banner, or the relevant third-party platforms where these are offered.
FE GOWNORA will answer verifiable requests within the periods required by applicable law and will never treat you less favourably for exercising your data-protection rights.
We keep personal information for as long as is reasonably needed for the purposes set out in this Policy — delivering our services, running the studio, meeting legal requirements, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. Some records are kept longer where fraud prevention, legal compliance or a legitimate business need requires it. Anonymised data may be retained indefinitely.
Your information may be moved to, and handled in, countries other than the one where it was collected. FE GOWNORA puts measures in place that are designed to keep such transfers compliant with the data-protection laws that apply.
FE GOWNORA maintains reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or loss.
Our services are not aimed at children under thirteen, and FE GOWNORA does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age.
FE GOWNORA may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any revision will be posted on the website, and the version in force at the time of your interaction with us is the one that applies.
